How to get to Hotel Omega?

From Schiphol Airport
Hotel Omega is 3 minutes away from tram and bus stops. So it is easy to get from Schiphol Airport to Hotel Omega by public transport.
Train
Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station, so you will never have to wait long to get to the hotel.
In the arrivals hall at the airport you will see a big sign with train information.
The train journey takes about 15 minutes.
The trains to Amsterdam Central Station run between 5:40 and 1:30. At night trains ride every hour.
Bus
From Schiphol airport you can take bus number 397. These buses leave and stop in front of the arrival hall of Schiphol (Schiphol Plaza).
The ride to the hotel takes about 20 to 25 minutes.
In the city get of the bus at bus stop Museumplein.
From here it is a short 10-minute walk to the hotel.
The buses leave every 15 minutes between 5:11 am and 0:28 am (5:17 am and 1:28 am on weekends) from Schiphol Plaza.
At night you can use the Niteliner N97. This runs every hour from 1:28 am to 4:28 am.
Taxi
Taxis you can get on Schiphol Plaza. A taxi ride to the hotel costs approximately € 45.00 à € 50.00.
Own transportation
If you come by car, it is important to note that the hotel does not have private parking. Street parking is expensive: Monday to Saturday paid parking is between 9:00 am and 24:00 pm at € 4.00 per hour.
The best option, so you wil save money for parking your car is to make use of P & R Olympisch Stadium. At the Olympic Stadium you can park your car at a very attractive rate. With your proof of purchasing a parking ticket a ticket for the tram or bus in Amsterdam can be bought there.
From the Olympic Stadium take bus 347 or 357 to busstop Museumplein. From there you can walk to the hotel in a few minutes.
Travelling in Amsterdam
The best way to explore Amsterdam is by foot, bike or to use public transportation. So leave your car behind because you will spend too much time in your car to get around, thus wasting time you can better use to enjoy Amsterdam.
Tram and bus
From Amsterdam Central Station to the hotel, you can take tram line 2. The trams are on the front of the station (Prins Hendrikkade).
You can buy tram and bus tickets in the tram or bus (no cash money is excepted).
The tram ride takes about 10 to 15 minutes. You must get off at the bus stop Van Baerlestraat.
From there you can walk to the hotel in a few minutes.
Trams in Amsterdam ride usually between 6:00 am and 0:30 am (7:00 am and 0:30 am on Saturday and 8:00 am and 0:32 am on Sundays and public holidays).
Tickets for public transportation
You can buy tickets in the train station or in the bus.
